Planning, Design & Urban Forestry
Our built environment is often not sustainable, healthy, or attractive. We can do better. Fortunately, our colleagues have written a range of policies, precedents, and case studies that can inspire us. Let's get to work.

Welcome
I'm Michael Slater. I am involved in the planning, design, and management of the built environment. My focus is on the intersection of urban planning, landscape design, and ecology.
I graduated from the University of Oregon's College of Design with a Master's in Community and Regional Planning and a graduate certificate in ecological design. I am also an ISA-certified arborist.
